Default again: more strange tire wear. inside edges WAY over-worn

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/65580/tire_wear.sm.jpg"></center><p>
pic is of one old stock tire (all four removed last year) at 25k miles all on stock suspension. yeah, fine, lots of miles, but what explains this F'd up wear? this is on STOCK suspension with alignment well within spec. bit of toe IN. this wear (right side of pic) is on INSIDE of BOTH front tires.

dealer aligned car under warranty and all was "in spec". this looks like massive toe out as both fronts have this wear, so the camber can't be off all that much (since it's not really adjustable). but really looks like too much negative camber. but that's in spec too.

now i'm on tracksports, 25.5" in front, 25.6" in back. no new alignment (yet, since i need a few new control arms). and i'm starting to wear the same way on the new tires at new ride height.

any ideas?

i would say control arms and/or TRE's would cause that kind of wear

Wait, so you're saying you slammed your car and didn't get an alignment?

Default too much negative camber

get an alignment. if you are really low you will most likely need adjustable upper control arms to get the camber back within spec.
