Almost bit the farm, @#*&^*(#@ driver almost kills me, ESP+good reaction save me (more)
So I'm driving down Rt 3 east towards the Parkway and I'm in the right lane doing about 55-60. There is a car in front of me doing the same speed, about 10 car length's up. Up ahead I see a silver towncar waiting to enter Rt 3. The car in front of me passes him and as I approach this A-hole pulls out!!!!!! For a split second I thought he might ride the brake down lane until he was up to speed, but NO! He pulls right out in front of me.
Well, thank god there was nobody to my left. I swung the wheel hard left and applied the brakes, the ESP kicked in when I got a little squirly but I was able to straighten things out in the center lane. Mind you I still have my Sport M2's on but they did pretty well for a snow tire. I didn't have time to even catch a glimps of this idiot, as my heart was in my throat and I almost wet my pants. I was probably 16 inches away from him at the closest point, coming up at 60mph.
Well, I'm home now and my baby is safe in the garage, I'm taking the rest of the day off and will start fresh tomorrow. Be careful out there, people are nuts!! Maybe my chip has a feature I didn't know about, "invisible mode"?????

Now I know why Jim De Arras installed 140dB horns
or something crazy like that ;-)
scare the bjesus out of people who do stupid crap like that
or at least, make them deaf.
I should install air horns... hmm

Weren't Jim De Arras' HELLA horns that were a direct replacement for the stockers?
If so, we need to track down that HELLA part, i hear once the bumper is off, replacing the horns is a no-brainer.
Hmmmm...

I installed Hella's on my previous car.
Some moron drifted across my bow through an intersection.... I hit the horn and he physically "jumped" behind the wheel. That was worth the $50 for the air horns right there! :>
