I'm going to buy a shortshifter kit for my car very soon. I've narrowed it down to either the tanoga or the strat shifter. Can you guys respond to this post and state; which one you have and why you picked it over the other. Also, do you wish you had bought another one? why?
Tell me the characteristics of each one too, please.
Thanks everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just installed my tanoga today..very happy with it...
reduced throw about 40%...actually feels much crisper, not as notchy like stock shifter...does take more effort to get into reverse though, but all in all i love it!

I have a Strat. I chose it because it was the only one with cartridge bearings at the time. (m)
Tanoga and UUC now have cartridge bearing options too, so I am not sure if I would still recommend Strat over Tanoga. They seem quite equal now.
Nonetheless, I am very happy with it. It appears to be a very well built piece of hardware. Fit and finish is top notch.
I have it on 50% and I have not had any problems shifting into any of the gears (including reverse) that some people have reported. I guess it is just a matter of adjustment.
