tomorrow to get to the event and weather sounds ugly at best. Any thing I can do to prep it for bad weather - or just cross my fingers and get some spray shine stuff and try to clean her up again

anyone know any rain prayers or something?

Default If you're really worried about it, get some blue painters tape from Home Depot (get the 2" wide

stuff) and put it on all the trouble spots. If your goal is to keep the car as clean as possible, I'd do the bumper and the front of the hood, and I'd also do the fenders and doors below the body molding. If the weather is nasty, all sorts of **** is going to be flung up there. I'd also consider doing the back of the car since in crappy weather that area gets all nasty, but doesn't get really wet of you are moving so it tends to get caked with dirt and exhaust grime. Then, when you get there, take off the tape and go over the whole car with detail spray. Good luck.

Default Cover the entire thing in painter's tape. Some Meguiar's Quick Detail after you remove the tape

and you'll be all set.

You'd look very strange on the highway, but you wouldn't have to wash the car again.
