Default very much...just got some in here, so I checked them out..couple things I noticed....

car is overall too flashy. I'm 20 and that car in guady looking up close. Too much of too many different metal schemes here and there. The seats are teh such. The headrests are useless and seats not much more supportive IMO. I know people bow down to Recaro but I was not impressed. The bottom of the rear decklid seems to be welded on, WTF? Wheels look ever crappier on the larger car. Holy wheel gap... nothing new. Interior nice and ergonomic but nothing more Price is stupid for the car u get. Now leaving I saw a B6 A4 with the sport package and RS4 reps. That car is fvckin sweet lookin. totaly trumps the S in looks. JMHO though.... :-)

Default it's a waiste of money and the fact that I kept up with on in my volvo just confirms it

for me anyway - styling is personal taste but I'm bold enough to say I think the volvo is a better car and if I need to add for the money then fine but I think even if both were about the same price I still think you get more car in the volvo. I won't try convince people here it looks better or not - i frankly think both cars need styling help. But 42k vs 55+ the volvo was an easy decision - I think both cars are best suited to have a second more fun car with them. The B5 felt like the perfect only car - I can't say I feel the same about the B6

Default i am overwhelmed...by the price

if it were 9-10K cheaper, i'd say...its worth it, at 55K loaded....its just way too much.
but the competition is not overwhelming either...
volvo S60R/v70R is a "good buy" in this percieved market, but underwhelming as well...performance numbers are marginally better than the stock B5 S4...although it is more practical because of its size.
An M3 is a RWD 2 door coupe with a boy racer appeal...A C32 is quice nice though...4 doors and quick
i just wish someone ould give the G35 70 more hp and have atessa AWD as an option..in a coupe and sedan form.

Very nice car, but overpriced by about $10,000. Styling not as nice as B5.

Default it needs a little more performance

with that V8 and almost 100 more hp, surprised B5 S4 is still close in performance in acceleration for both 0-60 and 1/4, coz it's even more of a pig!

Before it came out and they said it would have a V8 and more hp, I thought for sure it was gonna be like an AWD M5. But after seeing the specs, I was disappointed. The extra weight and price is no thanks.

Then there's styling which is blahhh...

Default G35 AWD

is coming for 04 but only in the sedan which is not as nice looking as the coupe.

When they make a 280hp AWD sedan that is a 4 door version of the coupe all at a few more bucks than a loaded A4 3.0 then I'll be all over it.

Default I think they definitely could have (& should have) been LIGHTER!!

3825 is waaay too heavy...there were a bunch of rumors posted on this forum that they were targeting 3500 pounds or so, and it's a damn shame they didn't, for whatever reason...if it were 3500 pounds, it would be perform far more impressively in terms of acceleration, braking, and handling...imo, based on the track numbers I've seen for it at 3825, at 3500 it *would* have been an "M3 killer", but thanks to the added weight it is severely handicapped.

I mean, sheesh, this is a *small sedan*!! No reason it couldn't have been made lighter...hell, the full-size Jaguar XJ8 only weighs about 150 pounds more!

It's a damn shame, too...although it is a fantastic car, it could have been the benchmark of the class if they'd have hit that magic 3,500.

Default agree, it does perform well for its weight

but if they could just cut a couple hundred pounds (maybe the test mule was lighter?)...that would have made a huge difference. i'm still hoping they make a lightweight (for audi) coupe version or something(maybe 3550 lbs?)...and bump teh HP up to S8 levels (360 or more)...that would grrrrreeat.
