Default Any break-in period needed for new K03 turbos?

The dealer just replaced my turbos under factory warranty (44k miles on my car) and I'm wondering if I should baby it or otherwise do anything to break these babies in. I'd like to have them last a while.

FWIW, I can barely hear these new turbos. What a difference from before when I'd have a loud siren after cold startup and a dentist drill at WOT. All I can hear is a faint "pssssst" when the windows are down.

Does dealer replace them with new turbos or rebuilt? If new, I'd let mine break in

I'd be willing to bet new turbos.

Default that's the way mine were when new @ 42K miles.

Now, after about 1K miles, they're louder, but no drill or siren or strange noises. Thank goodness.

I asked the same question, with the consensus that turbos don't need break-in per se, but i was gentle for the first few hundred miles anyway.

Default when in doubt, don't go FULL boost for 500-1000 miles.

also, change the oil after the first 1000 miles. (again, not sure if this is necessary).
