any difference between stock oem avus rims and the replicas seen on ebay etc?

They are different
But not by very much. The offset is different and the centercaps ARE different (can't interchange them), the wheels stick out about 1/2 inch more which I kind of like. Here's a few comparison pics:

I'm satisfied but if there weren't huge potholes here in NJ I would have gone with 40 sidewalls for a better look.

I got them so I'd have a spare set of wheels...
...and I drive like a psycho so blingbling "pullmeover" wheels were not an option. I got them off ebay, I did manage to haggle them down quite a bit. FYI I bought them almost a year ago.
