"Castrol Syntec 5W-50.
I've done my homework (and paid a high price) and will never use anything else again. No more Mobil 1 or other Brands.
This came very much from the Guy who has done quite a research on blown Turbos, Hans Dahlback via KMD.

Good Luck to all of you....and keep an eye on your Turbos ;-) Other Brands could leave abrasive residue in the Turbo or oil feed lines, for sure in the oil feed lines. I'll post pictures after I get a chance to cut them open.

Just thought it might be worth it to share this Information with you ar guys/gals."<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/117931.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/117931.phtml</a</li></ul>

Default i wouldn't take his recommendation without some proof & reasoning.

his statement is pretty useless at this point.

I thought the Dahlback claim was interesting. I wonder if he really uses GC 5-40??
