Any one else here have cruise control problems?

I use it like twice a year and 50% of the time it does not seem to respond to my commands. Simple fix or $$$?

A friend with a 2000 had to have his CC switch replaced early on... same symptoms.

mine doesnt do anything at all...just left it that way, with no codes...fwiw

I had the same problem... the resume switch only worked part of the time.

I had the switch replaced under warranty and it has been fine since.

My cruise control is dead also

Dropping it off at the dealer to see what the problem is, the only reason I even care if it works is so I can switch programs with my APR chips.

I fixed my problem with a suggestion I read here in the forum - I took the stalk apart (fairly easy) and sprayed alcohol in all the holes and crevices, wiped it all down, then sprayed WD-40 into the same places, let it dry, then reassembled. It's been working fine for about a week so far.
