Any one useing a MAC G4 labtop for ecux/vag com/apr home programer?
Looking for input / recomendations on what cables to use (prefer one ) what level of vag com etc

1) there is no such thing as a G5 laptop and there never will be
2) the MacBooks and MacBook Pros running Boot camp with WinXP or Parallels will have no problem with the USB VAG cable (HEX-USB+CAN)

I have the same, I understand it can be done with Windows emulator. However,
When I bought my car the previous owner threw in an inexpensive PC laptop which I use to run VAG-COM and Lemmiwinks.

From what I have read, usb vag cables won't work in parallels...
Something to do with some latency in the usb connection. I couldn't get it to work in Wine either, althought vag-com started up fine. I am doing a Bootcamp install now, which I have heard works fine.
