Mine just turned 15 years old in October of 2014. Dam rear view mirror finally died (oil issue). Anyone have one they would like to sell .

Yes, still got my MaD wAgOn, but she's only ~13.5 yrs old and getting close to 96k miles. Still love driving her when I get the chance, can't imagine getting rid of her. She's literally the weekend grocery getter car these days .

Default 2nd Owner ! Excellent Condition

Just picked up my dream car on March 19th from the Original owner. 2 months before my purchase, previous owner changed timing belt and water pump. @ 98k miles she's drives extremely smooth. Bone stock, and never driven hard. You can tell by the way it's drives and its responsiveness. Wait! It's gets better. Back in 05, with 45k miles the original turbos went. All original work documented by Audi dealer under warranty. So in 2005 I have to assume they were replaced by the new KO3s turbos not the original ko3 ( this is what I read). All I have done to the car thus for was replace the rear wheel barings and changed fluids, filters and spark plugs. Drives amazing and debating on whether to leave stock ( still fun to drive) or begin stage 1. Keeping in mind the original clutch releases low, still good as the car was never city driven, and the newer K03s only have 50k miles on them.
My concern is how much boost can they take. I was thinking of doing a stage 1 and easing into a stage 2. Any thoughts opinions and or list of simple moods and product lines that I should consider. ie; exhaust, boost gauge, chip (stage 1) - this will reduce the life of the clutch without a doubt.

Hi Laser Red ! I love the stance on that. I need to know how much you lowered yours by? Also, how do I get my hands on a set of RS4 18''s ? Also, any other changes required when moving to the RS4 wheel? Do you have some additional pics of your car? I think it's the prefect height. I was thinking of lowering by 0.5 inch or approx 10-12mm. Your thoughts?

Looking to do Milltek, and stage 1 GIAC, and most importantly, larger front brakes.

Subject: 2001.5 Audi S4

S4 pictures x 2 035.JPG
S4 pictures x 2 005.JPG

I have a very unique and rare S4. I'm the original owner. This was custom ordered by me with the options I wanted and the ones I didn't want left off. A few months ago, a request was made to Audi of America about just how many were produced. In less than twenty-four hours, I received the following information:

According to our vehicle data file, the following information is what we have available. These numbers portray the production numbers for models built for the U.S. market for the model year you are seeking:

· 4,830 – Model Year 2001 Audi S4 4-DR sedan 6-SPD quattro models sold in the U.S.

· 149 - Model Year 2001 Audi S4 4-DR sedan 6-SPD quattro models with Laser Red exteriors sold in the U.S.

· 17 - Model Year 2001 Audi S4 4-DR sedan 6-SPD quattro models with Laser Red exteriors and Onyx/Silver interiors sold in the U.S.

I hope this information is helpful. It was my pleasure to assist you with this. If we may be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at +1 877 615 2834. We are available to assist you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To add to this, mine is equipped with the Sports Package ( Aluminum belt line trim and polished aluminum side view mirrors). The Winter Package (Heated front seats and ski sack) was not ordered.
This is quite possibly a one of one ever produced. And that was fourteen years ago. How many survived?
The pictures don't come anywhere close to showing the true condition and care it's been shown. You have to see this in person. It's that nice. 82k miles. Brilliant laser red paint. Never, ever seen an automatic car wash. Absolutely no door dings or body damage. Zero curb rash. All maintenance up to date. A true stock survivor!
After getting the production numbers from AoA, it became evident that this is quite rare. Most have been modified and used hard.
