Any way to tell for sure whether the service shop changed my oil when I told them not to?

Okay, looking for a little advice.
Back before Memorial Day, my Avant had ~4500 miles and I was going to be driving from Portland to Boise. Since the soonest I could get a service appointment was today, I had to pay ~$80 out of my pocket to get the oil changed and Mobile1 put in before the trip. I dropped off my car this morning for its 5K (actually has 6050) service with express direction NOT to change the oil (and thereby flush my expenditure and likely replace my nice synthetic with some cheap natural oil).
Is there any way I can check when I get the car back this afternoon to verify that they in fact didn't change the oil?
Any ideas?

if they didn't change your oil, it would be dark. new oil has a much lighter color. as for testing
whether they used the synthetic you brought in, you have to send to to a lab or take their word for it.

It would show on your service invoice ...
They can't perform work without listing it in the computer, so it would show on your receipt. No way a tech is going to perform a "stealth" oil change. : )
