Default Anyone with 18" BBS CH's and 235 width tires...

How is the fit? Are the lips protected? Do you have any rubbing issues at a 35 offset (I'm using my stock suspension - for now)? I'm considering putting some Goodyear F-1's on them and want to deal with any problems before they arise.

Thanks.

Default Used to (Pilot Sports). Very nice but I did not like the silver wheel on silver car so I sold them

and bought a refrigerator. Tire size was perfect on the rim.

Go with 225/40/18 if you want to avoid rubbing problems.

Default I have 235/40R18's on my CH's and I rub, but I was also rubbing with 225/40R18's.

I am also running -2.5 degrees of camber up front also.

The lips have more protection though.

Default I've got that set-up and have solved the problem---

Running 235/45-18 on 18" CHs. There was rubbing so got the fenders rolled. Still rubbing. Turns out the tire was rubbing on the fender liner. Installed RS4 liners that had to be modified slightly to fit. (They are too wide for S4 application but they do not have that lip which was what was getting rubbed.) Now works perfect and I might run a 245 next time.

Default Don't you mean 40's on the tire profile dimension?

So, the rubbing was on the inside of the tire edge? Do you have a modified suspension?

I have 19" BBS CH with 235/35 Goodyear. Fits fine. It rub only when I do really hard cornering but then I think it's because I set my suspenion quite soft.

Default which tires will effect how well the lip is protected

FWIW, T1-S's protect the lips very well with 235/40/18's
