I got rear ended yesterday, only about 3-7mph I'm guessing. It was loud, no visible damage though. Not even a scratch on the bumber. My dealer said the shock in the bumber are not 'one shot wonders' like some domestic cars and as long as all panels are lined up there should be no damage. Anyone concur?

what does he mean by "1-shot" wonders? Need the shocks be replaced?

I was rear ended, with minor bumper damage. One thing to look for is if the oil seal is broken on the shock absorber. Even though it may have popped back out after the impact, it will not work again if the seal is broken.
