Default i'm on a mission to prove that...

...$1k is all you need to spend for a suspension.

Come down to pahrump, they're expanding it, new layout looks fun.

Default on pads -...

Ryan - finally got to the pagid setup we talked about long time ago - 4-4 orange front/4-2 blue rear...tracksport setup...not onlybhad to have the front 1595 machined...filed...but also found rear needed some work...there was a tall tab on 3242 that I needed to file and bend away from contact with caliper or is the 1158 a better fit...

http://www.pagidusa.com/btcontents.htm

brake pad drawing index

take a look at the 1158, and then the 3242 at link

wadday think?

Default i'm running 1158s on my car, but they didn't come with spring clips...

...had to take those off the old pads, and it's a little bit of a ghetto smash up install, but it works and they don't rattle around.

haha yea. its kind of a pain when the brakes get squishy before the tires heat up though

Default what's your setup?

springs and a stiff rear bar pobably get you 90% of the way

Default i'm still changing. my current setup is great, but too low...

...Eibach pro system on stock bars.

Great on track, comfortable enough on the street, but it's entirely too low ground clearance wise. In addition, it'll push when you hit dips loaded (needs more travel), but in normal cornering (no dips), it's very neutral.

Default thats cool. i ran on H&R ultras with stock bars and found it pushing too much.

im on H&R ultras with H-Sport swaybars on stiff and cpp/asp links rear/front. this setup is really awesome. i cant imagine having the need for a more advanced setup suspension-wise. i am planning on upgrading brakes over this offseason though.

Default ghetto smahup I can relate to ...had to remove, "modify", and reinstall

the ones I had (3242)...filed, bent, not spring currently...and yes...I hear the outboard ones talking to me...OBTW the rotors in front are not wearing to the top...remember the hat/backing plate concern, and now the top of the rotor appears unscathed, and the wear is digging a trench in the rotor face [overstated]...that okay, or should I do something about it???...started with SBS, now Pagids - some cut to hang even lower than SBS...
