Default anyone got stuck at all in last weekend's snowstorm?

even with quattro awd and snow tires?

I know I got stuck once when I hit a snow bank on a U-turn (no momentum) in my Land Rover.

:-(

Default Opening to my street . . 2 1/2 feet at 5 mph. Took about 10-15 sec. to push

through. Other than that no stickin and I wear balding p6000's =)

Default Isn't it fun to watch all the quattro challenged (those cars without all wheel drive) cars creep ...

around the streets in the rain. I don't drive crazy or anything, but it is pretty nice to be able to drive in the rain as if everything was normal. Now snow, I've never tried that one.

Default Nope

but it's all about knowing your limits. I wasn't foolish enough to go out in 2 feet of snow.

Quattro is nice, but I don't have 24 inches of ground clearance.

Default Ditto...I parked the car during the storm...

didn't get home until Tuesday evening, but at least all my bumper bits were still intact. That snow was too deep and heavy to "quattro" through!
