Default Anyone had their alarm go off with no appearent reason?

With the summer heat upon us, I been locking up my car with the front windows ajar only a bit and thats when the alarm would go off with no reason at all. It would reset itself and would go off again. I also notice that after the horn sound the lights still blinks. I remember this happened to another S4 in one of the Audi group meet. Anyone know what cause it?

Default The internal motion sensor is very sensitive.

Close the windows, or disable the motion sensor with the button next to the drivers seat.

Default My alarm went off yesterday while I nearby...

The sunroof was all the way open. I had been standing 100 ft or so away talking to a friend and fiddling with that key (argh! it's too fun to play with).

I figured I must have hit the panic by accident, although that seemed kind of unlikely...

Default IF your trying to keep cool, try tilting the roof, instead of cracking the windows.

I believe the motion sensor is at the top of the B pillar so it may be a problem with windows partially open.

Or as George said, disable the motion sensor.<p>-Alex, SLC, UT
