Anyone have an idea or pic of what our "alarm" horn looks like?
I have an idea for a new mod.

view 2.......it is directly behind the jack kit on the drivers side of the trunk..

Its easy to replace the factory alarm horn with an aftermarket siren; its also possible to keep the factory alarm horn and add an external siren. Just tap off the hot wire on the horn and run it to the location you want to put the siren. You'll need to provide a ground for the siren as well.
Directed Electronics #514N works fine and costs about $15. It has a soft chirp when arming/disarming and the unit itself is quite small. And its magnitudes louder than the factory "alarm".
