Someone posted here a week or so ago that his dealer voided his warranty because of it. Others have had no problems, I'm not sure how modded your car is, but if it's just chipped and nothing else you may want to check with your dealer beforehand, ie, "I wanted to get an in dash boost gauge cause I thought it was cool, but someone told me it could void my warranty, even though I am NOT chipped: is that true?" If you are fairly modded than IMHO I wouldn't expect to have a warranty anymore anyways.
