I know the Delvac topic comes up every two weeks or so, much like "Do turbos break?" but ...

Has anyone done an oil analysis comparing M1 0w-40 in their 2.7tt after x,000 miles in their car with Delvac after x,000 miles?

I'm interested in whether the detergents in Delvac make a difference compared with straight up M1 0w-40 when it comes to determining proper oil change intervals.

Also, any thoughts about the net effect of Delvac on our turbos compared to 0w-40? I see two arguments:

(1) Delvac's lower flashpoint than M1 0w-40 makes it less attractive, especially if you drive WOT all the time.
(2) BUT Delvac's detergent properties might be advantageous for keeping the turbos unobstructed.
