When certain levels or freq of bass are playing on my stock bose, stock settings i get a rattle coming from the rear passenger side trunklid speaker. Some songs cause it others don't. If you have the new crystal method cd, Track 4 causes it.

Does anyone else experience this?

Rear deck speaker? Mine rattles also. I think it's common.

Of course it depends on the type of music I am listening to. I usually adjust the bass down and its fine.

either fix (pad) the rear deck, or if it's one of the speakers, replace that.

If you go into your trunk, tug down on the speaker baskets & wiggle 'em a 'bit. I'd bet that they've crept up out of their recess. If they have, you'll hear a click & feel them settle back down into the deck. I check mine all the time. It makes a HUGE difference. Good luck.

Had rear pass Bose replaced for this. Blown speaker cone/spyder. Warranty covered.
