Default Anyone have O2 logs and Injector logs as Injectors go from under 100% to over 100% - thx ...

- the tuning on my rs6 hybrids, AWE fueling kit, TCD + Apexi continues

- I have the car down to 3.6 FATs with 300#'s of extra car gear in the back seats and trunk (we haven't got our house yet and the wife doesn't want it in the apartment)

- I can get the O2 curve in the 0.87 range until 6000rpm when the AWE fueling kit (greentops) go over 100% (I am not 100% sure these two facts are related as my seat time in the car consists of 2 days and Apexi adjustments are still available)

- as this point, the O2 curve moves down to about (.845 to .86 ) range (again this may be able to be corrected ? with less duty cycle or it may be the fact that the injectors at greater than 100% are less than 100% effective as they go over 100%??)

- obviously this is not a long term solution (5 bar or adjustable, bigger injectors, new ASP kit, etc) but as there are now a few poeple who have exceeded 100% injector duty at least temporarily, I thought there would be logs out there that may be useful (i.e. is this a known issue or is it not related to what I'm seeing)

- the reason I think this is a useful experiment, is that I am likely not the only one that may be trying to adapt the AWE Fueling kit to RS6 or other clearanced Hybrids and that I think I am close to getting the car to be a 3 second car (remove all the weight that is currently in the car and it is already likely at 3.4 seconds) - all I need is the last little bit of fueling / timing

- anyone?

Default give the 8J K03 code a shot - the silly injector duty cycles that code requests make it MUCH easier

to tune using lemmiwinks rather than attempting blanket adjustments with a fueling curve that actually IS a curve

my speculation only, of course. YMMV.

Default You're in MA, aren't you? Where do you do your FATS runs?!?!??!?!??!

I haven't found an open, flat stretch of highway anywhere.

I did some on Rt 24 last night, but finding a long enough flat section is tough.

6.35, 2x6.65, and 6.85 stock FATS!

Didn't you have K04/K16s, anyway? New turbos? I'm confused.

Default answered this question 2 weeks ago...

- was having an issue with the car on road courses under long periods of sustained WOT (smoke in the cabin)

- since one of the reasons I built the car was to enjoy it on the track, this required me to attempt to fix a problem of unknown origin

- Jacob rebuilt my K16s, which were working fine, and also made me a set of RS6 turbos with a set of K04s I provided (the RS6 turbos arrived back from Jacob first, I installed those and have the K16s, now clearanced by Jacob, sitting at my mechanics)

Default live in Manhattan, moving to northern NJ, did the runs on Sunday on the way to CT...

- very difficult to do
- 2 computers (lemmi + ECUx)

12 Step Logging Process
1) get ECUx running on HP notebook, pull onto highway, let ICs get some air for 2 miles (hopefully), hang out in slow lane doing 50 (look for cops), wait for enough room to open up infront then go (pick what ever lane is required)
2) hit brakes and get off at next exit
3) dump data from ECUx to CSV file
4) use Mark P's grab data excel file to prep data
5) use Mark P's master creation to analyze data
6) try to figure out what to change (look at O2s, MAF, timing, acceleration, also try to watch boost guage while driving to see shape of curve that Apexi creates)
7) switch cable to IBM notebook with Lemmi on it (adjust primary / accelerating) then save changes
8) turn car off then on to save changes
9) re-check that new settings are saved
10) close IBM notebook
11) open HP notebook, shut down Excel files, get ECUx ready to log again (place cursor over that start button)
12) adjust seat to driving position, seatbelt on, drive back to onramp and repeat

Default appreciate the offer, I'm mechanical challanged and this would also required a RS4 or other MAF...

that I do not have

- living in NYC, I don't currently have a garage that I could work in to attempt these changes (+ I would have to order a MAF)

- I feel that I will most likely end up at some alternative solution (this 8J code / Autospeed code / EPL custom code) + 85-90mm MAF + 5 Bar / AFR or new injectors

- appreciate the offer and may take you up on it, if it is still available, when we move into our NJ house in June

- thanks

Default Click the link in my sig. Almost every single one of my logs has duty cycles going over 100% up top.

My 02 voltages never drop once injector duty cycles go over 100%, nor have I seen this on other cars AFAIK.
