Default Anyone have trouble with armrest not staying in position?

When I put the armrest down, sometimes it won't stay at the level I put it at. The funny thing is, you can usually really lean on it without a problem, but barely touch it and it will drop out from under my elbow.

Servie department said it couldn't replicate the problem, of course. They threatened to void my armrest warranty because of the coin holder mod (j/k).

Anyone else get this? Know of any FAQs or Tech Articles pertaining to this?

If I don't hear anything, I can always hit it with a sledge hammer before my next service...

Thanks!

Default If I lean on mine right in the center of the armrest for a while, it will drop a notch...

but it doesn't seem as finicky as yours (this happens if I've been on it a decent amount of time).

Default thought I was the only having this dilemma...

...it has a mind of its own. It stays in the optimal position one time and then it drops down all of a sudden. I wonder if it can be adjusted to "locK tighter" in its most comfortable position and then depress the release button to unlock it.

It's easy to hit the armrest adjuster when you are opening the armrest. It loosens & drops.

Default Yup! Happened with my sedan and now with the avant

I think that if you lean on it from an angle it starts to get out of position.
