Default My research shows that there are only 2 sets available for 2.8L, regardless of year:
AHA is for cars with an automatic transmission whilst ATQ is for manual cars.

The difference being that the AHA has some extra vacuum holes exposed that need capping if you put it into a manual car.

Default $950 is what I was looking for - not unreasonable and uber-rare!
Will knock off $250 if you send me your old repairable 2.7L heads?

Default why are they rare? the 30v 2.8L was used on a lot of cars.
passat, A4, A6. Unless VW had a different head. But if you look around they can be had for less.
