Lojack pros and cons:
Pros: Lojack works well in assisting the police to find your car.
Cons: If the theif disconnects the battery, then lojack is only good for 48 hours.

Chop it and sell parts to body shops - Wrecks not being a warranty repair
You could always chop it and sell the parts to body shops. There's been no shortage of people wrecking theirs, expecially last winter on the stock tires in the snow. I'm thinking body panels, wheels, airbags and associated dash pieces.

I can attest to that....
They popped the hood on my ol' civic, ripped the entire distributor, faceplate for stereo and my floormats!
Stole just enough not to make it worth my while to claim it...
Police came out and got some nice prints, was pleasantly surprised at that. So when he gets caught for something else.....

there were some pictures.... was it here?
I remember seeing some, split the key open to have a look at the chip inside it that communicates with the ignition system, so jamming a screwdriver in there won't work...
