Default 710Gs supercede 710Ns now...

...and, having taken one apart, they seem to have a plastic guide around the diaphram seat that promotes a proper seating.

Is there a thread or faq on why the N's are better than the A's?

Compared to N, did the diaphram appear to be same thickness? same weight spring?

Default I don't know if there is a thread or faq... the As and Bs are prone to failure, even fully stock ...

iirc the Ns have a thicker diaphram and heavier weight spring and are less prone to failure.

My car surged alot under boost, I replaced the 710As w/ Ns and it solved the problem. Both of the A BPVs were leaky. The car was stock at the time. BTW - Before replacing them, I had asked the dealer to look at the BPVs and they told me they were fine.

Default NO, they are newer but have a much softer spring rate. Use the "N".

The RS6 came with 710N valves inititally.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs6/msgs/3974.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/rs6/msgs/3974.phtml</a></li></ul>

Default Yes, someone dismantled them and...

the diaphragm material in the N was tougher and harder to rip than that in the A or B. It's on someone's personal website but a search on DV or BPV testing might find a link.
