I went to both Stevens Creek and Calsen Porsche/Audi/VW today only to be treated like absolute %*#( and told that if I want the car, it would take 8 mo. to order (which I find absolute BS) and if I wanted the one car that they had just gotten in, it would be $2000 over MSRP no negot. I said f**k this and left. Does anyone know a dealer that would be willing to negociate or has a new 2000 S4 that is priced under MSRP? Is online ordering the way to go? Any responses welcome

online car ordering sites (eg. CarsDirect, CarOrder) are selling for over MSRP these days. i think carorder was asking for $3k over MSRP and CarsDirect was asking for something like $1000-1500 over MSRP last i checked. kinda ridiculous since, from reading previous posts, some dealers seem to be selling at MSRP (at least for 2000 models).<p>--

Think about it...you could buy the car, have it shipped and pick up an MTM chip upgrade for less than the clowns in your area want to charge you.
