Anyone know why the idle is so low with the MTM chip installed?

The idiling RPM with MTM chip is 100 lower than with stock. Is this normal? TIA.

Mine idles at 750rpm... sometimes 1100rpm for ~30 seconds

Hmmm... That doesn't sound too good. Mine's just lower than stock but steady.

I average 780RPM and it's smooth.

Really? I average about 600-700 RPM and it is sometimes rough.

Maybe b/c I didn't do a throttle body adaptation w/ a vag tool? I just left the key in the on position w/o turning on the engine for a few min.

Well 1100rpm seems to be when its cold out <shrug>
