Anyone use Unisettings? What would cause ECU not to connect? (more)

I used to use it, and it worked fine. Last night, couldn't get it... ECUx and VAG were working 100% ( I have a real deal ross tech cable ) so I use Unisettings over Lemmi because its supposed to be able to work with it. I went in, selected device and it came up Ross tech USB blah blah, but when I went to read from ECU, I got nothin!

mine won't communicate with the car running if that helps at all?

yeah, I only tried it with the car in the ON position, but not started. I have to

fiddle with it I guess, haha.

Cables to use with unisettings

Some of the 1.8t ecu will only work with galletto some eBay Ross tech equivalents do not have write function. I have used mpps, 409.1, genuine rosstech and galletto 1260. Also you have to ensure the ftdi driver file is in the folder with unisettings launcher for it to work correctly. Sometimes loading vcds and selecting bootin intelligent mode to turn it off or force dumb mode can sometimes help the eBay cables function
