I just bought a 1995 vw cabriole it runs fine but when it warms up some times it will just die mostly when you come to a light then it wont start for about 4-5 minutes. When im on the highway its fine i drove for 20 miles and no problems. Anyone ever heard of anything like this any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the tank evap purge valve is bad.
