Anything I need to do after I put in the GIAC IBE chip to prep the car?

Default Anything I need to do after I put in the GIAC IBE chip to prep the car?
Going to put in the Giac IBE (stock, X and XR) today but was wondering if the car needs to do anything after the chip goes in. Is there a adaptation period that takes place or am I good to go when the oil warms up?

Also, do you need to disconnect the battery before swapping ECU's or is it ok to do it with it connected?

Thanks all can't wait for the extra power!

Should do a TBA (throttle body adaptation). personally, I leave the battery connected.

if you don't have vag just leave the key in the on position for a few minutes that'll do the TBA

that sometimes works. Did for my MTM but i don't think it did for my giac

Key in the on position worked for me last week. Plugged in a new AMS ECU
