I had a v1 on there that sounded SOOOO good, but the durn thing was scraping all the time, so the friendly folk at apr put the v2 on. I like it, but i miss the sound of the v1, is there anyway to cut out the resonator? TIA

Sure, have a muffler shop pull the middle muffler, that's basically what the APR SRT Version I is...

OH YEAH, pullin the resonator off today for 40 bucks :-)

First off, it's not THAT loud.

Second, when I first installed it it would hang very low, and scrape on everything (like your post).

While swapping my Center and Rear Diff fluids, Taner and I adjusted it, and managed to raise it about 2 inches, it's been gravy ever since.

Also, my APR SRT has the old style exhaust hangers which hang lower than the current ones.

Just a thought...

I have the v.2 APR and just got AWE downpipes. It's not VM1 loud at all, but at the right times, it sounds sweet. Deeper tone than before.
