Archives don't seem to have definitive answer - I guess it's safe to drive with bad O2 sensors?

Default Pre or post cat O2 sensors?

The post-cat ones I think are only for cat efficiency. Pre-cat ones are more important.

Default Wouldn't be nice to have the codes to just turn off the emissions crap altogether!

depending on your mileage, you can argue to have them replaced under the 8/80,000 emissions warrantee

Not sure. VAG-COM shows codes for bank 1 and 2 and the sensor heater.

Default Sensors 1 or 2?

Bank 1 sensor 1 (B1S1) and bank 2 sensor 1 (B2S1) are before the cats. B1S2 and B2S2 are after the cats.
