Default Arm rest "locked" in the upright postion..

It started out as a problem with the thing not going all the way down. So, I put it all the way back thinking it would free it up. Now I can't move it at all. Is there a "known" problem with the arm rest that causes this?
And yes,I do press the release button.

Default Chris: Was there something stuck in there.................

or did the thing just break/stop working ? Last thing I want is to take it in and then have the dealer tell me it was caused by "driver".

Default Do you keep coins in that center armrest?

Sometimes coins can work their way back when you flip it up, and prevent you from opening it...I'm wondering if maybe the coins could also somehow jam up in the upright position?

Default At dealer now for same problem

Mine has been at the dealer 3 times this month. They are still un able to fix it. They are having a problem with the re-wire of the cell phone cable.

Then get it replaced with warranty. 2 of my friends had trouble and had them replaced.

Default Nope, nothing stuck in there ...

It happened just like yours. It just wouldn't go down. Th dealer ordered a new mechanism - they said the whole armrest is replaced, but I I think it is just the latch and hinge area.
