ATTN: Socaler's Dealer just diagnosed my coolant leak with a broken water pump...

my service manager told me $200 for the new unit and SIX HUNDRED FORTY dollars for labor. He claimed it was a 7-9 hr job. Can anyone tell me if this is true. Anyone know of a independent service dealer that i can take it to in the L.A. area?

water hoses are supposed not covered, mine wasnt.

i think that install time is a little inflated.

uhhh.. im pretty sure others have gotten their pump replaced under warrenty.. try another dealer?
