I went to the tirerack autoX last weekend (my first!) and put way too much wear on my tires. 
The wheels are SSR competitions w/ 235/40/17 AVS sports - a nice sticky summer set-up in my inexperienced opinion. The SSR's are super light, only ~15 lbs per wheel for the 17". I think an 18" version is in production now. Call Luke @ tirerack if you're interested in them.
