Default audi approved after market accessories

I have heard of an aftermarket supply source that provides accessories that are "audi approved" and will therefore not void audi's warranty. If somebody knows of this supplier website please let me know.

I am soon to be new to the Audi family and am starting off with an S4. I have put money down on an imcoming 01' due to arrive in 1 week. Sight unseen and have never driven one. I have driven the A6 2.7T and A4 2.8 so am thinking I am somewhere in the ballpark in comparison. I am also assuming that it will outperform my current mode of transportation which is an 83' Honda Accord. Am I making a good decision?
Jonathan

Default Unlike most car companies, Audi does not have any...

If you're lucky you may have a dealer near you that doesn't particularly care, but thats hit or miss.

Default You've never driven one, never even seen one, and you're asking if you're making a good decision??

Default Re: You've never driven one, never even seen one, and you're asking if you're making a good decision

I have only seen pictures and put money down on a 01' that is coming into town next week. I have been doing research for over six months talking with friends internet etc. and in the mean time driving everything I can think of from $25K to $65K. BMW 323i, 328ci, M3, 528i, 540i, mercedes SLK320, CLK430, Acura TL, CL typeS, Honda Accord, Porsche 911/993, BoxterS, Lexus GS400, IS300...and the list goes on. It wasn't until I jumped in the A4 2.8 and instantly had a smile on my face and thought to myself that I might be onto something. Of course I had a smile on my face with the Porsche models that I drove but the sticker price, with options, almost made me fill my shorts. I drove all Audi models/engine options in A4 and A6 and even an A8. Anyway, after all of this I pretty much thought Audi was it for me but was looking for that something extra when I came upon the S4. Unfortunately my local Audi dealer didn't have one and in the weeks that have followed I have pretty much convinced myself this will be the car but yet have never driven it. I am primarily looking for a performance related car that is capabable, although not required, of hauling me and my wife and something more than a brief case, can get around in foul whether/snow, can take it accross state without having felt like I have been through first week of practice with pads and is kick *** to drive. I am not aware of any other car that offer these features at this price. Oh yeah since I am still driving an 83' Honda accord I was hoping for the slightest bit of reliablility as well in hopes it might be just factionally reliable as my Honda has been. I hope I have done enough searching to come to this conclusion and am very anxious to take it for a spin when it comes in next week. If you can offer an advice or opinion as to my logic behind this research endevour and the path I have chosen or are aware of better options please speak freely now while I am still in the research gathering mode for at least one more week. Your input is appreciated.
Jonathan

One in every eighteen Viper owners had driven a Viper before delivery.

Also, 38% of Vipers are crashed in their 1st year of ownership.

Default Personally, $40k justifies a drive to ensure it is everything you hope it will be.
