Aux (After-run) Coolant Pump install question...

I ordered a new pump online and planned to get the manifold gaskets/Y-pipe clamps at the dealer yesterday. The pump arrived, but I didn't get to the dealer to get the gaskets. The parts dept. at the dealer is closed for the weekend and I was hoping to knock this out today or tomorrow.

Who has replaced the pump without removing the intake manifold? How hard is it to get it in...that part is not covered in the tech article...and seems like it would be a PITA.

Yup - that's the thread I was reading...no re-install comments...

His last comment was 'that's a whole other story' or something to that effect.

I did my ARP and did not get new intake mani gaskets. All was/is fine for 12k now.

i reinstalled a metal elbow to avoid having

that pump altogether. it was very easy to attach the two coolant lines. i had all lines off the rear of the manifold, bypass valve, and ypipe totally removed which gave me lots of space.
