Aux Water Pump Leak
I have been told that i have a small coolent leak at my Aux Water Pump. Never any coolent on the ground I just smell coolent after the car has been driven. Anyone have any idea what the pump costs (does the entire pump have to be replased or just the gasket) and how much labor time is required to replace the pump. Anyone with any experiance with this problem any help would be greatly appreciated.

An experienced mechanic should easily be able to do it under 6
All you have to do is remove the ypipe, fuel rail, intake manifold. I did mine while I was installing stage 3, mine was busted big time.

agreed - I did mine when I was installing a new intake manifold....
I figured I was in there so might as well.
I think the pump was ~$80 from 1stvwparts.com.
There is NO WAY it should take 6hrs.
I think it can be done in 2hrs.
