b5 vs b6 modibility. Can some one shed some light on this?

Easy gains (chip) on B5 due to turbos. B6 already has that power out of the box.
And when it comes down to making "expensive" mods to net big big horsepower, the cost of putting K04s or other big turbos on a 2.7T will be similar (or more expensive, due to the labor involved) than slapping the inevitable supercharger kit onto a 4.2.

What CAN you do to the NA V8?
I'm not much of an expert, but it's not like you can bore and stroke an audi V8...it's not an LS1. From pics of the things though, doesn't even look like there's room for a supercharger. I think the only real thing you could do would be hook up a NOS system if you're into that sorta thing. Anybody know more about V8 tuning that they could suggest a tuning path for these things?
