Saw the AW front page article on the B6-platform Avant, and I LIKE it. My main gripe with the sedan, and it was a big one, was the fugly rear end....the Avant solves that problem, and looks pretty nice.

The only changes that I would want to see from the A4 Avant shown (other than the obligatory engine, suspension, tranny and brake upgrades) are 17" or 18" wheels, body-colored side skirts, a more aggressive front air dam....and what the heck, throw in flared fenders, too. Not that I'll be giving up my B5 sedan.....

flared fenders/wheels/tires = wider stance would make it look mean but still stealthy. Better looking with window tint. Bigger back end = more space and more weight, will weight improve handling/balance over the sedan/saloon?
