Default back on stock pads again - wow, not bad

not bad at all, esp on good rotors (stasis/alcon). i think they get a bad rap :P

Heat them up and then you'll see their shortcomings.

Default oh trust me, i have :)

just had on stoptech "club race" pads which i baked @ pahrump. went back to stock because they were pretty much dead.

but honestly, with the stasis rotors it takes quite a bit of effort to get them to an unhappy temp - even with agressive street driving they stay relatively cool.

Default Nah, they bit too hard initially (IMHO) and leave the...

driver thinking he has more braking power than is available. I switched to Carbotech Bobcats for the street and find the initial bite less dramatic and the feel more linear as I push the pedal. I like them more because of that.

On top of that the stockers dust a lot...more than my Carbotechs at least.

I guess the only thing I liked about the stockers was that they never squeaked and had a better bite in the rain.
