Is it bad when smoke pours out of the engine bay?
west palm beach dealer (Braman) adds 8++ qts of 10w30 car acted sluggish, oil temp rise quickly to 250, anything over 4k rpms = smoke and lots of it. Where would the smoke come from? (in engine bay) What should I do to the dealer?
Drained. added Mobil 0 30. runs fine. runs much cooler.

Re: It's easy... repeat after me: WARRANTY WARRANTY WARRANTY
Let them screw it up. If they do it enough, you get a new car. I've done it with VW. Piece of cake.
Keep good records. Don't modify the car. Always go to them. Establish a record of having all work done by the dealer.
Then Whammo!

I have 10k service tomorrow, so are you saying I should just drop the car off
and let the dealer put in the oil of their choice, which will be 10w30? That may flush out any weak turbo issues. Naw, I can't do that. I hear you, but hearing stories like that one are very frustrating.
