Bah.. garmin GPS temporary adhesive woes
Hey folks,
I had a StreetPilot Color in my Audi - I'm taking the Audi to the dealership today, as I'm getting very few responses on it, to see what I can get from a dealer.
At any rate, I used the Garmin temporary adhesive, and now I'm trying to take it off. The thing disintegrated when I was lifting it off (Virginia sun did a number on it apparently) and now I have a puddle of gray goop sitting on my dashboard.
How can I take this crap off, without damaging my finish?
Alex.
TIA!

there is a product called GoofOff and I used it, same set-up...
Just be sure to test it on the bottom of the dashboard to be certain it won't harm the finish. Do not scrub!!!!! Gentle circular motion, and when finished, wash with a diluted solution of Murphy's Oil Soap in luke-warm water.
