Default WTF? how does that devalue the car?

Warranty costs are figured into the original price of the car, but in the B5 S4 case, that got shot to **** from stuff like all the people who bring in temporarily de-chipped cars to have problems caused by chipping fixed under warranty. don't get your precious wiper blades from the dealer then. by your reasoning, that would run up the warranty cost and de-value (?) our cars as well.

Default uh...

lets see turbo replacement $3000+, transmission $3000+. consumer magazines pole AUDI "dear sirs could you give us warranty costs for the S4 for 2 years?' Audi "uh well it averages $7000 a year per car. consumer magazine "wow ok thanks". review is written "AUDI s4 cars have a VERY high warranty rate so in the view of this magazine the future opperational costs (out of warranty) will be very high for this car. We recommend that you DO NOT BUY ONE" get it---beat the hell out of your car and cause grief to those who dont, reduce the resale value wiper blades cost a 1.00 hamfisted drivers that tear up transmissions due to lack of skill cost thousands!

Default yeah, but I'm talking about the battery. dunno wtf you're smoking.

I'm <b>NOT</b> talking about bringing in a de-chipped car for warranty work related to the chipping (which I disagree with). I'm talking (<b>in JEST</b>) about the battery (and inferring other OEM parts) for the type of things that'll break/wear out/etc shortly after 50K, when it's out of warranty, and you'll need to pay for it out of your own pocket. like I said, if you're that **** about warranty costs, don't get your precious wiper blades.
