Battery died, replaced batt, radio is safe mode. I looked in my manuel and couldnt find

Default Battery died, replaced batt, radio is safe mode. I looked in my manuel and couldnt find

the radio code. Local stearlership wants $105 for the code lol. I tried the nail file thing and failed. What else can I do? can I get the code through vag? TIA

it's on the last page of the radio manual, not in the main manual.

Default You can only get the SAFE code with the VAG-COM when it is not in SAFE mode!

Stupid, I know. Give me your VIN and the AUZ number off the side of the radio and I will try to get it for you.

Also try looking for the code on the floor of your trunk (under the carpet)...

you mean on the sticker that also has the vin and stuff on it?
