Battery draining every day...where to start?
I've been dealing with a draining Odyssey PC925 battery for the last week now, and I'm trying to understand where to start diagnosing this.
Symptoms:
Battery is pretty much dead in the morning at 8-9 volts. Jump-starting the car, it's fine at 13.8-13.9 volts. My conclusion here is that the alternator is working fine.
At the end of the work day, the battery is dead again. Another jump-start or push-start. I've charged the battery pretty much overnight at a 2 amp trickle-charge, and it starts up fine. However, at the end of that day, the battery is dead again.
So I tried messing with the ground wire, thinking that maybe the ground connection wasn't properly seated or maybe corroded. Ground wire is fine.
At this point, I think I either have a faulty battery, or an electrical leak somewhere in the system. How do I continue to diagnose this?
Help much appreciated.
BTW, hello to all you old-school B5 forum guys. Long-time no post.

Did you leave a dome light on? That's what got me a few months back. ;) And don't drive too long
with a bad battery or else you might have to start looking for a new alternator too.
