beat the snot out of two punks that were egging my car (more)
Ok, here goes. My friend Nick and I were at the mall, where I was making use of the gift certificates I got for Christmas. Two punks were egging and silly stringing my car. We walked by as if it wasn't our car, then each jumped one of them, threw them down into the snow and whitewashed them. After pushing them around a bit, we silly stringed their entire bodies and dumped the eggs all over them. When we left they were lying/sitting on the snow bank near my former parking space. A little extreme, I know. Anyhow, I went immediately to one of those all-night drive-in car washes, and the car is fine.
By the way, I am only 17 and was not a full grown man beating on a high schooler.

Now wait! I'm sure the silver spoon has been removed

why what? Why is it moronoc to give teenagers fast cars?
Becuase they kill themselves, thier friends, and other people with frightening regularity.
Becuase the leading cause of death for males 16-24 is car accidents.
Let a kid get 100,000 miles under his belt in a normal car.

see - I dont think buying the kid a a4 is a bad idea, or a 325, or some MB
I mean - if the parents want to spend $$$, that is there business, but nothing that goes 0-60 in less than 7-8 seconds

Let me take it a bit farther..
I think its unfair to single out young people.
I think NO person regardless of age should be allow to buy a hi-performance car without some kind of car-control school.

At a certain age, with enough driving experience, it is not a bad thing
I had musclecars all through hig school that I paid for myself, and I could have easily killed myself.
But that was the late 70's, and the roads were much less crowded.
I agree with what you say about driving school - we could all use some, but sometimes it is not feasible.
I see kids in the Dallas suburbs driving fast stuff, and every month or so one of them kills themselves
