The Grey foam thing in the well is the pad under the spare tire.

The wire on the left side of the trunk is speaker wire that connects the sub to the amp mounted on the underside of the rear deck. Tricky wiring required

Default It will help immensely when playing any type of bass. Did you put any on the trunk lid? Will help

a lot there too.
