Default Been STFA for turbo replacements, just want the most current advise...

Is K04's with inlets the least expensive way to go? Is there something in the works that is a better alternative (hybrids)?
Thanks.

Default

Hybrids are going to be quite a bit more expensive.

Default IIRC, some low budget folks have swapped just turbos to KO4s, and left everything as before. --->

Might require a $45 manual boost controller to make the turbos work "forever".

I would beware of hybrids or any other "custom" turbos. Too much snake oil there.
